I’m Jerry Nielsen. I’ve been marketing online since 1992 when I put a website online to market Rose Arbour , our tea room, gift shop and bed & breakfast in Chester, VT. We added an online store in 1995, and I began posting my thoughts about tea, scones and Vermont on a WordPress 2.0 blog entitled Tea and Scones Vermont.

During my business career I either sold, supported, or taught people how to use computers to make their work more productive and easier. I was a technical and sales skills trainer for Apple Computer. I love selling, and I love teaching people how to sell things even more.

Now, the teacher in me wants to share all that I have learned about business and especially business on the internet. I want to advise my readers on how to avoid the pitfalls I have encountered and how to experience the successes that are available if they will treat their efforts as a business.

I promise everyone this! I won’t shove some pre-launch nonsense at you, and I won’t pitch the latest joint venture some guru is flooding his list with emails over. I’ll try stuff myself before I recommend it, and I’ll have made at least a little money from what I suggest before I advise you to try it.
